About HonuWorx
HonuWorx is an Aberdeen subsea robotics company developing systems that move the deployment of inspection and intervention robots below the surface and their operators ashore. Loggerhead combines an uncrewed underwater mothership, worker ROV and communications buoy. HonuNet supplies the cloud-edge communications and control layer and is also offered separately for conventional offshore operations. The portfolio addresses defence, underwater infrastructure and offshore energy, with the mothership still progressing through demonstration and development work.
Operating context
The architecture changes where intervention equipment is launched and where the humans sit: a submerged carrier can deploy and power a smaller worker vehicle while a buoy provides the surface communications path. The approach avoids repeated robot handling through the splash zone, although supervised work still depends on that communications link. Aberdeen is the engineering base; the registered office is a separate Aberdeen address.
