How it works
Loggerhead is an uncrewed subsea robot deployment system. A long-endurance AUV transports a smaller tethered ROV to a worksite, supplies its power and holds position while a deployable buoy links the operation to shore. The company describes autonomous transit with supervised, variable-autonomy work. This separates long-range transport from close inspection and light intervention.
