Victoria Shipyards performs the shipyard work while Babcock remains prime contractor. Seaspan reports more than 300 people on submarine sustainment; the subcontract price is undisclosed. This extends an existing maintenance role, separately from its proposed TKMS partnership for Canada's future submarine fleet.
