Rocket Lab Space Systems Canada is the Toronto satellite-components operation of Rocket Lab, producing reaction wheels and star trackers and developing larger, more radiation-resilient attitude-control hardware.
Operating context
Rocket Lab's Toronto operation, built from Sinclair Interplanetary, supplies spacecraft attitude-control components. Its December 2025 announcement describes CAD 999,951 of Canadian Space Agency support for development and qualification of a reaction wheel targeting at least 25 Nms and satellites of 500–1,000 kg. That funded development expands an existing reaction-wheel family; the target specification should not be read as qualification already completed. The Canadian facility is the relevant hardware and supplier-engagement point, distinct from the parent's launch services.
