How it works
Rocket Lab’s Toronto operation is developing a reaction wheel targeting at least 25 Nms for 500–1,000 kg spacecraft under CSA agreement 25STDPX38. This development is distinct from its currently marketed 12 Nms wheel. The September 2026 12 Nms datasheet specifies nominal 200 mNm torque, serial command/telemetry and mass below 5 kg; these specifications and that model’s flight history must not be assigned to the new 25 Nms design.
