About Gr8Dane Marine Services
Gr8Dane Marine Services is a Nova Scotia ROV and marine-services company providing rapid-mobilization underwater inspection, search, recovery, USBL positioning, side-scan sonar and port-security support across Atlantic Canada.
Operating context
Gr8Dane provides portable ROV inspection and recovery services from Youngs Cove, Nova Scotia. Its Oceanus Pro operation combines high-definition video, USBL positioning and portable side-scan sonar for hulls, infrastructure, asset location, science and recovery work. The company states a 1,000-foot operating depth and describes wireless sharing of recorded video. MarineNav independently lists Gr8Dane as its authorized Nova Scotia ROV sales and service distributor, adding an equipment-access role to the field-service offering. Its operator background includes Coast Guard and commercial marine experience, but a specific job still needs an agreed inspection scope, sea-state and visibility limits, positioning requirements and suitable recovery equipment.
