Read technical summary

Can-Dive combines diver-led underwater construction and repair with remotely operated inspection, survey and intervention. Its catalogue names Seabotix LBV200, Seaeye Falcon and Phantom HD2 vehicles with optional sonar, imaging and manipulators. Manufacturer specifications help distinguish their operating envelopes, but the variant and payload in a Can-Dive mobilization must be selected for the job. Atmospheric diving is a separate service using named suits and DeepWorker submersibles with different depth ratings. Sechelt's 2023 outfall award illustrates the integration of construction with pressure testing, video inspection and multibeam survey deliverables.

Evidence of maturity

Saskatoon reports completed Can-Dive intake-screen repairs in July 2016. SeaView reports its own Falcon DR completed a 9,000-foot Mamquam inspection after Can-Dive hired it in 2007. Sechelt records a 2023 outfall-remediation award. These establish dated project experience; current fleet configuration and availability require a task-specific mobilization proposal.

Can-Dive offers day-rate or fixed-price contracts as prime or subcontractor, with bonding and insurance, and advertises 24/7 emergency and non-emergency response. Platform, tooling and crew arrangements are project-specific.
