About VAC AERO International
VAC AERO International is a Canadian aerospace special-process company providing vacuum heat treatment, brazing, coatings, furnace systems and metallurgical services.
Operating context
VAC AERO combines special-process services with manufacture of vacuum furnaces, so its commercial role extends beyond outsourced heat treatment. The current services site distinguishes process certificates and approvals across Ontario and Quebec facilities. Boeing's April 2026 commitment is specifically C$7 million for two vacuum furnaces destined for its Algona, Washington tube-and-duct operation under CP8A Poseidon industrial benefits. This is Canadian equipment supply supporting several Boeing programmes, not proof that all processing occurs in Canada or exclusively on P-8 aircraft. NRC's SURFTec listing separately establishes participation in collaborative thermal-spray research.
