About StandardAero
Keep military aircraft engines available longer and plan maintenance before failures disrupt the fleet. StandardAero provides overhaul, testing, engineering, component repair, and fleet support from Winnipeg.
Operating context
Alongside its established military propulsion work, StandardAero provides CF34 and CFM56 overhaul, testing and related support. It reports CF34-3/8 GE-Branded Service Agreement status since 2001 and CFM56-5B/-7B General Support License Agreement status since 2009. Winnipeg and Dallas/Fort Worth provide CFM56 overhaul and test capability; the wider service offering includes exchange engines, used serviceable material, component repair and engine-health monitoring. These engine-specific authorizations are more informative than a blanket statement that every Canadian facility supports every platform.
