About Qubic Technologies
Sherbrooke quantum-technology company developing superconducting microwave devices, low-noise cryogenic components, and entangled-microwave approaches for sensing and communications.
Operating context
Qubic's immediate commercial focus is low-noise cryogenic amplification for quantum-computer readout. Its kinetic-inductance travelling-wave parametric amplifier uses the superconducting transmission line's nonlinearity rather than Josephson junctions, supporting multiplexed qubit readout. Quantum Machines purchased units for integration and benchmarking at the Israeli Quantum Computing Center. Qubic also pursues sensing applications, but the inspected evidence does not establish a deployed quantum radar. The September federal contract specifies nine amplifiers with components and software, and describes sub-0.1 mW heat dissipation as projected.
