Operating context
Pacific Geomatics helps buyers select and obtain optical, radar and hyperspectral imagery from commercial satellite operators. It supplies data and consulting rather than owning the listed constellations. The October 2025 Pixxel collaboration introduced Firefly hyperspectral data for Canadian mining, environmental, forestry and agricultural use; the announcement described five-metre resolution and more than 135 spectral bands. Current sensor configurations and licence terms still need to be matched to the area, revisit and analysis objective. PSPC discloses a C$23,001.15 March 2026 call-up under Pacific Geomatics’ satellite-imagery standing offer. That confirms a procurement transaction, but the generic description does not reveal which satellite or dataset was purchased.
