About Nano One Materials
Canadian battery-materials technology company developing a One-Pot process for producing cathode active materials, including lithium iron phosphate, with research in Burnaby and a commercialization hub in Candiac, Quebec.
Operating context
Nano One's commercial route combines process licensing with demonstration production and prospective project development. Its completed Worley package joins process design, a licence and specified equipment around One-Pot LFP manufacture. Feedstock qualification is progressing: Standard Lithium confirms a small pilot-material shipment used in Nano One cathode and coin-cell tests. The Canadian facilities have separate roles, with Burnaby research and Candiac demonstration; the approximately 800-tonne annual Candiac expansion remains targeted for commissioning in first-half 2027. A further Canada DevCo plant is in site evaluation and early development at a proposed 25,000 tonnes annually, with possible later expansion. That prospective plant is separate from existing Candiac output and depends on partners, financing, permitting and customer qualification.
