About Mangrove Lithium
Delta critical-minerals company operating an electrochemical lithium-refining platform designed to convert varied lithium feedstocks into battery-grade lithium hydroxide or carbonate.
Operating context
Mangrove’s modular Clear-Li platform converts lithium chloride or sulfate into hydroxide or carbonate between extraction and cathode manufacturing. Mangrove’s electrochemical refining scale-up now has a binding feedstock agreement beyond the earlier memorandum. Elevra announced in August 2026 a seven-year agreement to supply Québec spodumene to the proposed 20,000-tonne-per-year LCE conversion facility in Eastern Canada. Performance remains conditional on project financing, a positive final investment decision and sustained operation at at least half of nameplate capacity; the agreement sets a December 2028 FID deadline. This planned facility is distinct from the smaller Delta refinery opened in April 2026. Federal support has also progressed beyond the earlier conditional announcement: NRCan’s disclosure records a C$21.884 million contribution for the spodumene pilot and conversion-plant engineering study, beginning June 2026. The agreement and engineering funding improve project definition without establishing that the Eastern Canada plant is built or producing.
