About Ki3 Photonics
Montréal quantum-photonics company developing components and systems for quantum communications, including photon-pair sources, frequency conversion, and fibre-network test platforms.
Operating context
Ki3 Photonics now presents a modular quantum-network stack rather than an undifferentiated photonics service. Q.COMB supplies entangled photons at room temperature; PHASE.FIX analyzes and stabilizes photonic signals, LINQ.SYNQ compensates fiber-length and polarization changes, and the Ki3 Python API controls and monitors network devices. The Montréal company describes integration through conventional optical fiber and Ethernet. A procurement route is separately visible: ISC lists its QuanCAN quantum-frequency-comb innovation as eligible for additional sales through July 30, 2027. ISED also discloses a C$686,183.15 research-services contract awarded in May 2026, but the record does not establish which commercial module was ordered. These records strengthen the evidence for research and procurement engagement without proving widespread operational deployment.
