About aiRadar Inc.
aiRadar is a Burnaby company developing compact, software-configurable array radars for sensing and imaging. Its V-band MMI family supports configurations for electronically scanned surveillance, moving-target indication and synthetic-aperture radar imaging, alongside separately funded radar-network and software-development work.
Operating context
aiRadar’s MMI family shares radar hardware, firmware and processing across AESA scanning and synthetic-aperture imaging configurations. The V-band model table separates array size, power, navigation and storage; the RAR and DroneSAR pages describe their own payload envelopes and mounting options. Those configuration boundaries should remain attached to any proposed host integration.
A June 2025 supplier announcement identifies a separate development path: Sivers received an aiRadar purchase order for a 28 GHz TRX BF02-based antenna module intended to extend DroneSAR and drone-detection products into the Ka band. The order is evidence of supplier development, rather than proof that all MMI models have changed frequency or that the new system has been accepted.
