How it works
SubC combines Rayfin subsea cameras, lighting, recording and inspection software. Rayfin Mk2 Benthic is offered at 6,000 m with an 11,000 m option; camera specifications vary by model. DVR+ / SCI 7.14 introduces Eventing and ReviewStudio workflows for logged inspection observations, with topside or camera-internal storage. Version 7.14.7 adds project tags and filename handling. Streaming requires a configured service, while Secure Edge supports a separate LAN-contained option. WHOI documents a Rayfin configuration on Nereid Under Ice, supporting a specific deployment rather than every current camera specification.
