Capability profile
CPM is OTI's material-enabled process for controlling thin-film growth through self-assembly. Patterning the top OLED electrode creates transparent openings between pixels for near-infrared sensors and cameras and can improve transparent-display construction. OTI reports validation on customers' production lines; DNP has collaborated on compatible evaporation masks and cleaning processes. Defence relevance is an integration hypothesis for displays and sensor modules, subject to configuration-specific testing.
OLED materials and manufacturing process
OTI announced customer mass-production qualification in October 2022 and its current product page reports validation on production lines in Korea and China. The transparent AMOLED example is a pilot-line demonstration. No numeric TRL is assigned.
Commercial availability: OTI reports material supply to leading display manufacturers through industrial partners; material grades, current volumes and qualification requirements should be confirmed for a specific integration.
