Joint Support Ship construction

Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards is building two Protecteur-class Joint Support Ships for the Royal Canadian Navy, integrating underway replenishment, helicopter support, medical facilities and limited sealift. The construction programme supports sustained naval task-group operations; delivery and operational acceptance are separate milestones.
