How it works
TIMS is a portable imaging research concept for geotechnical surveying, field medicine and manufacturing inspection. CSMC’s published patent describes combining electrical impedance tomography from surface electrodes with ultrasound data and computational reconstruction. Its illustrated fusion result uses simulated data; neither the patent nor the NRC validation grant establishes clinical or field qualification.
