How it works
CMC provides inspection, testing, repair, modification and upgrade services for specified avionics and electronic equipment, supported by RMA, technical-support and training contacts. Its civil capability matrix is dated April 29, 2025 and identifies part numbers for flight-management systems, displays, PU-3000 computers, navigation and communications equipment. Approval columns vary by part and jurisdiction.
Transport Canada’s current AMO 3-73 directory lists autoflight and radio systems, electrical components and miscellaneous instruments/display devices, each within the company manual. Its international arrangements with Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore are component-rated rather than aircraft-rated. The Montréal AS9100D/ISO 9001 certificate includes MRO within its electronic-product scope. These records support component-level sustainment, not unrestricted whole-aircraft maintenance.
