Eigen’s March 2026 configuration uses thermal views around the parison, the hot plastic tube before mold closure, to detect changes in shape, length and temperature distribution. The published package comprises three FLIR A50 or Optris Xi 400 cameras, an edge panel PC with HMI and OPC UA connectivity. Eigen says models inspect images in under one second; that is a vendor-stated capability whose cycle-time suitability must be established on the actual line.
