Agile’s UAV polarimetric ground-penetrating-radar concept addresses the DND minefield-breaching challenge by investigating radar sensing from an uncrewed aircraft. The public contribution record establishes the aerial carriage concept and polarimetric radar approach.
It does not describe a completed aircraft installation or publish the radar frequency, flying altitude, detection accuracy or prototype results. The engineering outcome of the funded work remains the substantive gap.

Evidence of maturity
DND records CAD 999,895 for concept development from November 15, 2024 to May 30, 2026. That agreement period has ended, but the inspected record does not establish completion or an achieved product TRL. The challenge’s broader TRL range is not a rating for this project.
Commercial availability
The documented activity is funded concept development. An orderable GPR product or commercial delivery route has not been established.

Readiness
A technology readiness level is not established by the reviewed public sources.
UAV polarimetric ground-penetrating-radar concept may help teams working on Sovereign defence capability areas by contributing to detection and situational awareness, autonomous and uncrewed systems, and aerospace operations.
This is a reviewed public-source assessment. It is not procurement eligibility, endorsement, customer interest, or classified demand.
