Capability profile
Advanced Subsea's published ROV offer centres on an observation-class Seaeye Falcon for coastal and inshore inspection. Its undated company sheet describes a 300-metre-rated vehicle with four horizontal vectored thrusters, one vertical thruster, a tilting colour camera, compass/gyro and automatic heading/depth functions. The sheet gives a 50 kg launch weight and a 4 kg payload, or 62 kg and 16 kg respectively with its additional buoyancy core. Those figures belong to that documented configuration, rather than every Falcon version.
Sector-scan sonar, tracking or navigation equipment, manipulators, additional cameras, cathodic-protection probes, cleaning tools and recording systems are listed as options. They should be selected against the inspection or light-intervention task, rather than assumed to be installed. Saab separately distinguishes the standard Falcon from the 1,000-metre Falcon DR; the deeper model's rating cannot be applied to the company sheet's vehicle.
The separate launch-and-recovery/tether-management sheet describes a winch, A-frame and garage containing the ROV and flying tether. It states launch/recovery to 300 metres and a 150-metre work radius from the garage, with 415/440 V three-phase power for that support system. The vehicle sheet specifies a different surface power input of 100–270 VAC at 2.5 kW. These interfaces matter when arranging the host platform, deployment system and electrical supply.
Tow cameras are a separate advertised alternative for larger-area visual surveys where an ROV is unnecessary. The company also describes access to inspection systems and agent sourcing of larger vehicles. The equipment documents support configuration planning but do not establish today's owned fleet, installed payloads or mobilization date.
These describe the reviewed application scope, not confirmed deployments, released requirements or procurement eligibility.
Published vehicle and support-system sheets provide configuration detail but no current inventory date or accepted deployment record. Metro Vancouver's diving award does not establish Falcon use. Optional payloads and the separate Falcon DR rating should not be treated as the offered unit's installed specification.
Scope the actual vehicle, payloads, launch system, crew and schedule with the company. Its material describes owned or quickly accessed inspection systems and agent-sourced larger vehicles; current access and integration commitments require project-specific confirmation.
A technology readiness level is not established by the reviewed public sources.
No reviewed Mission area or released Defence need connection is currently published.
These records support this capability and its published Mission area and Defence need connections. A source count is not a count of independent confirmations.

The company lists three distinct operating options: Seaeye Falcon ROV for coastal/inshore work; tow-camera systems as a faster, lower-cost alternative when an ROV is unnecessary and for larger-area survey; and a separate 16-foot self-contained mobile diving trailer for emergency ship-husbandry/repair or video inspection callouts. Company-published equipment/service description; webpage footer says copyright 2018; no current inventory date. Availability/ownership of current equipment not independently confirmed. Tow-camera system is explicitly a distinct lower-cost survey configuration, not ROV sonar.
