How it works
APE Tape is A2O’s flagship anti-corrosive adhesive, intended to improve protective-coating retention in wet and saline conditions with minimal surface pretreatment. The underlying dynamic-material platform is described as self-healing and reversibly adhesive, with compatibility across several difficult substrates. Current public evidence includes laboratory demonstrations and funded marine-pilot/manufacturing work. Numerical adhesion strength, application limits, standardized durability and qualified field-repair procedures were not recovered.
