About University of Calgary
The University of Calgary combines CMSS maritime and Arctic policy research with applied work in quantum, cyber, autonomous systems and resilient navigation. The DND-backed Quantum Defence Innovation Secure Hub offers a specific technology-transition pathway operated through Quantum City, distinct from CMSS’s policy and convening role.
Operating context
Quantum DISH has an announced CAD20.3 million two-year funding envelope and a goal of validated CAF/CSE prototypes, rather than completed fielded equipment. Huebert’s CMSS role and the Seapower program are separate from this hub. Lajeunesse’s StFX affiliation and historical Calgary visiting work must not be represented as current Calgary employment.
