About ThisFish
Vancouver supply-chain software company providing traceability, workflow, analytics, and computer-vision tools for seafood processors and other food-production operations.
Operating context
ThisFish’s Tally platform connects seafood processing records with production, inventory and quality-control workflows, while visual inspection and smart cameras form a separate automation layer. Its February 2026 Japan announcement supplies a named deployment example: bluefin tuna wholesaler Yamayuki implemented Tally for production and inventory control at Toyosu Market. The company also established a Hokkaido channel relationship with ezoCreate and added local support staff. This is stronger evidence of traceability-software use than of TallyVision deployment: the named customer announcement does not establish which camera models, species classifiers or inspection tolerances were installed. PacifiCan’s C$665,000 May 2026 contribution supports future scaling, staffing and AI-model development for the camera system. NRC separately records C$40,000 of CanExport support, which is export-development assistance rather than product procurement.
