Operating context
Spark Centre supports technology commercialization in eastern Ontario through advice, IP and capital connections, workspace and founder programs. Its June 2026 Landing-Pad cohort includes NanoRock's protective-coatings development and SharpEZ's instrument-sharpening prototype, illustrating support from technical validation through manufacturing and market planning. Cohort participation is not product certification. Delivery partner Launch Lab describes eligibility for female-led businesses or qualifying newcomers with an eastern Ontario presence or relocation intention. Its published terms include a $2,500 entry fee and a $10,000 grant with $10,000 co-investment upon completion, alongside reciprocal mentorship commitments.
