About Space Canada
Space Canada is a national industry association representing Canadian space innovators across satellite communications, Earth observation, robotics, launch, exploration, data services and related advanced technologies.
Operating context
Space Canada provides a national association route into Canada's commercial space ecosystem, including satellite communications, Earth observation, launch and exploration businesses. Its defence-space position paper calls for a stronger industrial base, procurement that makes greater use of commercial space, renewed defence-space R&D and support for allied exports. These recommendations describe the association's advocacy agenda, not approved procurement policy. SpaceBound 2026 is scheduled for October 19-21, with an Ottawa parliamentary reception followed by two conference days at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau. The event page still says tickets will go on sale soon. Prospective members and partners can use info@space-canada.ca to confirm participation and the appropriate industry working-group connection.
