About PRIMA Québec
Quebec advanced-materials research and innovation hub that administers collaborative research funding and connects industrial and academic partners.
Operating context
PRIMA Quebec's autumn R33 call gives advanced-materials collaborations a defined application path: a letter of intent is due at noon on October 26, 2026, followed by the full project on December 7. Results are expected in March 2027. Projects combine industry with public research expertise and must address circular economy unless PRIMA approves an exception when the letter of intent is submitted. SME and large-company streams have different matching rules and contribution rates, with PRIMA caps of 40% and 20% respectively and a $1.5 million maximum. A materials or instrumentation team should confirm its research partners, stream, matching contribution and any exception before developing the full application. Other listed calls have separate operators and deadlines.
