About Peraso
Canadian semiconductor company developing millimetre-wave wireless technology and chipsets.
Operating context
Peraso supplies millimetre-wave semiconductor and module technology for OEM wireless links. The April 2026 PRM2146X-D brief defines a 57–71 GHz IEEE 802.11ad module with an eight-element dual-polarized array, USB 3.0 data/control and throughput up to 3.5 Gbps under specified conditions. The 35 by 50 mm module is rated for -40 to +85°C operation and lists about 8.1 W transmit consumption. Integration and link conditions determine achievable performance; directional beams do not imply immunity to interference or an accepted defence radio. Peraso’s SEC-filed Q2 results report US$1.307 million revenue, a US$2.220 million GAAP loss and US$3.322 million cash at June 30. These financials and management’s supply-chain commentary add a supplier-continuity question alongside the technical evaluation, without turning drone evaluations into orders.
