About OSI Maritime Systems
Integrated naval navigation, tactical bridge and command-and-control systems for surface ships, submarines and small craft.
Operating context
OSI supplies ECPINS navigation software and integrated bridge/navigation systems for surface ships, submarines and small craft. Its September 17, 2026 announcement reports successful STANAG 7170 Edition 4 Additional Military Layers testing, strengthening the evidence for handling military geospatial data alongside navigation charts. An August DNV testing announcement for STANAG 4564 Edition 3 says certification will follow; it should not yet be represented as a recovered certificate. The May Lockheed Martin Canada production contract covers the first three River-class Destroyers, following design work. Separately, Kongsberg’s submarine-navigation MoU concerns an offered ORCCA/TKMS solution for Canada’s submarine project and remains a cooperation arrangement. These distinct stages help a buyer assess a proven navigation supplier without conflating testing, production scope and future platform opportunities.
