Operating context
Opportunities New Brunswick is a business-development and investment-attraction route for companies establishing or expanding in the province. Its current services cover investment, growth, productivity, regulatory navigation and export access. In May 2026 ONB described defence as a provincial economic priority, with an emphasis on industrial capacity, cybersecurity and supply-chain integration. It identified cooperation with ACOA and ACADA and pointed to developments such as the UNB–Hanwha Ocean MOU and Vimy Forge as parts of the surrounding ecosystem. Those relationships provide context for introductions; they are not procurement commitments by ONB or evidence that a firm qualifies for a contract.
