About ICUBE UTM
ICUBE UTM is the University of Toronto Mississauga entrepreneurship hub for social entrepreneurs and early-stage startups, providing programs, workshops, mentorship, co-working space and venture-growth support.
Operating context
ICUBE UTM is the University of Toronto Mississauga’s entrepreneurship unit, offering mentoring, workshops and venture development with an emphasis on social entrepreneurship. Its programs are open to the UofT community and businesses across Canada, subject to university policies and program fit. Ideation Lab is a one-year membership for teams shaping an idea; Venture Forward supports businesses that already have a product or sales and need help growing sustainably. ICUBE states that it takes no equity for its own services. That promise does not extend to external investors or separate university laboratories, whose terms founders must review independently. The Indigenous entrepreneurship partnership with Redbird Circle and university partners provides a distinct learning route rather than a generic startup cohort. The Mississauga office and icube.utm@utoronto.ca are practical entry points for choosing the relevant program. No inspected source establishes a dedicated defence procurement or classified-testing mandate.
