About GB Accelerator
GB Accelerator is a Collingwood non-profit technology incubator and accelerator providing professional services, training, mentoring and individualized programming to support clean and advanced-technology businesses.
Operating context
GB Accelerator provides tailored mentorship for businesses and founders in South Georgian Bay, including Simcoe, Grey and Bruce counties. It offers a one-month Ideation route, a two-month Launch programme for a validated product or service approaching market entry, and a four-month Growth programme with individual coaches and mentors. It is not restricted to technology startups and selects businesses with potential to expand beyond the region. The Growth programme charges no participation fee and takes no equity; continuing alumni services can operate on a fee-for-service basis. One application is used to assess the appropriate programme, followed by selection-committee review. The Launch page contains both a Collingwood-only pilot statement and wider county eligibility, so applicants should confirm which geographic rule currently applies.
