Quebec aerospace innovation-zone operator created in 2024 to connect research, training and industrialization through hubs in Montréal, Longueuil and Mirabel.
Operating context
Espace Aéro coordinates aerospace innovation across Montréal, Longueuil and Mirabel as a subsidiary of Aéro Montréal. Its pathways distinguish AéroStart for research valorization and emerging deep technology, AéroLink for collaborative project formation, and AéroLab for testing and demonstration. The hubs have complementary roles: Montréal in collaborative research, Longueuil in industrialization and training, and Mirabel in experimentation and new mobility. Facility schedules matter when planning access. The published hub description places CCIAM's opening in 2028 and AéroCampus completion in 2029, so those planned assets should not be represented as currently available facilities. The YMX Innovation Centre is owned and overseen by ADM. Partners should identify the actual facility operator and current access conditions for a proposed test or integration project.
