Project Mythos

mobile virtual-reality agency training kit

Read technical summary

Project Mythos is ChimeraXR's configurable virtual-reality agency-training package. The legacy V2 storefront describes standalone and PCVR licences, a choice of headsets and training equipment, laptop/router options, in-headset editing and up to 40 locally or internet-connected participants. It also describes a first-year update subscription and custom assembly.

The workflow connects physical movement and tracked replicas with a virtual scenario. A historical firsthand demonstration described a mapped play boundary, crouching and prone movement, optional ankle tracking and virtual cover. Instructor and student replay could review a drill from different angles with trajectories toggled, supporting discussion of movement, positioning and shot paths.

These records explain the legacy configuration and review workflow. Street Smarts VR's acquisition provides a parent sales context, but current material does not identify which historical Mythos options remain available or map its present software features to Mythos.

Evidence of maturity

Commercially listed legacy package with historical firsthand demonstration of movement tracking and replay. Present configuration and software continuity need confirmation following acquisition; demonstration accounts do not establish measured training efficacy.

Commercial availability

Seek a current parent-supported quotation covering configuration, licences, updates and support. The legacy storefront’s package and undated lead times should not be treated as a current delivery commitment.

Project Spear

deployable mixed-reality military training system

Read technical summary

Project Spear is ChimeraXR's mobile mixed-reality military-training innovation. Innovative Solutions Canada describes a prototype using head-mounted displays and real weapon systems to bring up to 40 soldiers into a common training environment. Its public listing does not provide a complete current hardware, software or support configuration.

ISC lists Spear as T5-016580 under Additional Sales, with eligibility ending November 15, 2026. This gives eligible federal purchasers a time-limited route beyond initial testing; it does not document a fresh sale or general operational fielding. Historical ChimeraXR testing procurement exists, but differing public contract identifiers and values need reconciliation before assignment to a specific delivered Spear configuration.

Following the Street Smarts VR acquisition, a purchase discussion should establish which Spear package is supported and how software, equipment, updates and recorded data are handled. The parent's umbrella offering should not be assumed to describe Spear feature by feature.

Evidence of maturity

ISC-listed prototype with a time-limited additional-sales route. Historical testing procurement exists, but delivered configuration and the relationship between differing contract disclosures remain unresolved. The listing does not establish general military fielding.

Commercial availability

ISC Additional Sales eligibility runs to November 15, 2026, subject to programme terms. Confirm the current parent-supported Spear configuration, quotation and delivery commitments.

Anchorage Assembly approved up to US$202,000 for police VR training on August 27, 2024, according to Alaska Public Media’s August 30 report. The proposed package included four headsets and replica gun/Taser equipment. Contract finalization, a vendor visit and train-the-trainer work were still pending when reported.

Commercial context

Mythos has legacy commercial package listings; Spear has ISC additional-sales eligibility expiring November 15, 2026. Buyers need a current parent-supported configuration, licence and support quotation. Historical testing procurement and municipal approval do not establish a new sale or accepted delivery.

Financing and disclosed activity

NRC IRAP agreement 1005564 records C$310,000 for Project AGERE from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, supporting an end-to-end VR/MR crisis-scenario builder for nontechnical users. It separately identifies a C$60,000 amendment. This is historical development support, not evidence of completed integration into a current product.

CanadaBuys CW2337536 shows C$612,245.91 and amendments for a Testing Stream contract awarded November 15, 2023 and expiring August 15, 2024. A separate ISED disclosure uses identifier 9203412601 and C$585,290.73 for the same dates. These should be reconciled rather than added as two awards or assigned to a named product without further evidence.

Alaska Public Media reported Anchorage Assembly approval of up to US$202,000 for police VR training in August 2024. Contract finalization, a vendor visit and instructor training were still pending when reported. This is a procurement approval, not recognized revenue or proven delivery. Company revenue, cash and the acquisition price are not disclosed in the inspected sources.

Ownership and entity scope

Street Smarts VR announced its acquisition of ChimeraXR in July 2024. An Investment Canada acquisition notification published May 22, 2024 identifies Street Smarts VR Inc. as investor and the United States as the country of ultimate control. These records do not specify the exact closing date or ownership percentage.

Questions for a first conversation

Which parent-supported Mythos or Spear configuration is sold today, and how are updates, instructor tools, recorded data and support handled under the proposed licence and purchase route?
The legacy Mythos package, current Street Smarts VR offering and time-limited Spear listing describe different commercial surfaces; their features, licences and support responsibilities are not mapped one to one.
