About CEIM
CEIM is a Montreal technology incubator and accelerator providing tailored advisory support to innovative young companies across digital technology, life sciences, creative industries, cleantech and advanced manufacturing.
Operating context
CEIM supports technology entrepreneurs in Montréal with business validation, commercialization planning, financing preparation and international business development, alongside office space and ecosystem connections. Its service scope covers digital technologies, life sciences, creative industries and other innovative ventures. Through the S.I.J. fund, it provides a financing route for Québec technology entrepreneurs aged 18–40. The founder component offers business term loans of $50, 000–$200, 000, generally requiring a company under five years old, majority ownership by eligible entrepreneurs and a mentor or advisory committee. It is a loan application, not an automatic grant or an equity award. CED announced $800,000 in operating support for CEIM in November 2024 under its 2024–2028 incubator funding; the announcement was conditional on a signed contribution agreement and concerned service capacity rather than payments to each client.
