About CADSI
Ottawa-based national defence and security industry association connecting Canadian firms with government, allied, buyer, policy, procurement, and market-intelligence channels through advocacy, events, digital tools, and international programs.
Operating context
CADSI provides defence and security industry advocacy, market information and access to convening platforms including CANSEC, Canadian Armed Forces Outlooks, Cyber and Digital Outlooks, and international Canada Pavilions. Corporate membership is for Canadian-registered entities active in the domestic defence or security industry; associate membership has different rights and does not include CANSEC exhibiting or participation on CADSI’s board and committees. Applications go through myCADSI for review. CADSI explicitly distinguishes its networking role from a broker that secures contracts or makes individual introductions. The jointly released ISED–CADSI State of Canada’s Defence Industry 2026 report supplies an updated industry evidence base. Its underlying survey measures 2024 activity, with comparisons to 2022; it is not a measurement of 2026 revenues or employment.
