About Association of British Columbia Defence and Marine Industries (ABCDMI)
British Columbia industry association connecting marine, shipbuilding, defence, ocean-technology and related supply-chain organizations.
Operating context
The organization historically listed as the Association of British Columbia Marine Industries now presents itself as the Association of British Columbia Defence and Marine Industries (ABCDMI). Its public services connect BC marine and defence firms with workforce initiatives, sector advocacy and supply-chain opportunities. Membership categories cover both commercial firms and non-profit stakeholders. The October 20-21, 2026 Business Opportunities Conference at Vancouver Convention Centre West provides a specific supplier-engagement route; exhibitor space and attendee registration have different availability. Prospective participants should contact contact@abcdmi.ca to confirm the appropriate membership or event option and identify relevant buyer sessions. Association access is a route to relationships and information, not evidence of a qualified supplier or awarded work.
