Operating context
Aéro Montréal is Quebec's aerospace cluster and a member or partner convener rather than a supplier or procurement authority. It combines sector strategy and government dialogue with defence and security working groups, competitiveness diagnostics, trade missions, events and partner programs that help eligible Quebec firms navigate aerospace and defence markets. Espace Aéro is its innovation-focused subsidiary and must remain a distinct operating identity. Its Accès Défense Transport Québec initiative, co-led with Propulsion Québec and supported by STIQ and CED, now provides a shared expression-of-interest form for eligible Quebec aerospace and electric or intelligent ground-transport businesses. The team routes enquiries to market intelligence, capability mapping, events and partner connections; a separate self-assessment supports selection of twenty SMEs for personalized readiness and market-entry support.
