Marecomms' ROAM/AQUABAND systems carry imagery and data through difficult underwater acoustic channels, with configurable modem processing and OEM integration. Its brochure's 30–600 Kbit/s headline is effective image throughput that multiplies acoustic link rate by compression gain, across stated 100 m–2 km shallow-water links. That definition matters when sizing raw telemetry or video. ROAM also appears on Canada's additional-sales eligibility list; this is a purchasing pathway rather than a new contract award.
