How it works
Synthium is described as a pipeline between source systems, AI models and human decision makers. The public reference architecture ingests documents, databases, APIs and operational feeds; extracts and links entities; checks policy and jurisdiction rules; scores recommendations with evidence and alternatives; and records outputs and approvals. The conceptual API covers ingest, assets, query, embeddings, recommendations and audit. It is an architecture description, not an inspected production OpenAPI implementation.
Its public maritime scenario uses AIS tracks, radar contacts, EO/IR feeds and NOTAMs as illustrative inputs, then presents ranked courses of action for operator acceptance, modification or rejection. The defence page describes API links to existing SIEM and operational dashboards. Caseway’s success page says demonstration data is synthetic. MiTAC work remains a POC in technical scoping, with a Taiwan demonstration planned. The available record does not establish sensor-fusion accuracy, latency, false-alarm performance or operational buyer acceptance.
