BlackBerry Radar turns location and status measurements into asset dashboards, alerts and geofences. H2M combines GNSS, motion sensing and cellular connectivity; accessory choices change the observed asset conditions. Endurance depends on use, and target environmental approvals require separate verification.
Radar is an asset-location and status platform in BlackBerry's QNX business. Field devices feed role-based dashboards, reports, alerts and geofences, with an open API and named logistics-system integrations. Hardware and sensor configurations differ by asset and installation.
Technical detail
Core features
H2M combines GPS/GLONASS and 3-axis accelerometer/gyro inputs for location, movement, door/container, tamper and impact data; LTE Cat-M1 and a proprietary sensor gateway connect the device.
H2M uses a 273 Wh battery. Supplier testing reports up to five years under moderate use, with actual-use dependence; operating temperature is -40°C to 85°C.
A2 reports cargo space, door and environment through H2; S2-IS railcar door/hatch/brake sensing uses H2M IS. R2 and R2 IS offer load/on-off sensing.
Role-based dashboards, reports, alerts and geofences expose an open API; the supplier lists ISAAC, McLeod and Trimble integrations.

Recorded applications
Location and condition visibility for logistics assets through field telemetry and operator dashboards.
These describe the reviewed application scope, not confirmed deployments, released requirements or procurement eligibility.
Evidence of maturity
Current commercial asset-monitoring portfolio. The H2M brochure labels its environmental approval list Certifications (Target); this does not establish achieved MIL-STD-810G, IP67 or IP69K acceptance.
Commercial availability
Commercial asset-monitoring devices and platform; sensor model, gateway, network coverage, installation and system interface need asset-specific assessment.
